Being a 25 year veteran in EMS myself, I can't think of a more horrible way to honor a career Emergency Medical Technician then to call him an "ambulance driver." Whoever wrote this owes not only the family, but the EMS community as a whole an apology.
My deepest apologies to his family, to Clarks Fork Valley Ambulance and the entire first responder community for identifying Everett Edwards in the headline for what he was doing in the moment and not as the professional Emergency Medical Technician he was.
