I was one of the people that was asked for a signature. If you didn't inquire more, the way they requested signatures was very sneaky. The initial question sounded like I would be signing for the protection of life... when I asked them "What do you mean by that?" it was then I said, "Absolutely not, no thank you." They were very crafty in their wording of the initial question--and if you didn't ask, it's possible you signed something different than what you thought.
The word "volunteers" is interesting since these signature gatherers were paid by left wing groups who intentionally misled signers. I wonder how may knew they were signing something that meant to make a constitutional amendment to make it so no restrictions could EVER be place on abortion in Montana, up to the moment of birth?
