Wind and Lack of Snow Cover Combine for Elevated Grass Fire Risk Through Monday

The Billings office of the National Weather Service is warning that windy dry conditions will persist into Monday for most locations. With snow cover having melted out, grass fire conditions will be elevated. They ask that for everyone to please help prevent wildfires by avoiding anything that could spark a fire over the next few days.
