Two Motorcycles Slide Off Pass; Several More Temporarily Stranded by Slush and Wind

An eyewitness report in the noon hour of Tuesday, August 8, states several motorcycles are temporarily stranded as 3-4” of slushy rain blows over the Beartooth Pass near the Twin Lakes headwall making driving treacherous for all. A local was caught in the flurry and took the above photo while waiting for two motorcycles to recover from their encounter. No injuries were reported. A good reminder to always be prepared for changing weather conditions.
