I look forward to boosting my immunity with another vaccination, which may not keep me from getting sick (have never had COVID, so far) but will reduce the risk, if I do get COVID, of death and nonfatal, long-term complications like "long COVID" syndrome, which can be debilitating. COVID is deadlier than the flu. The vaccines are incredibly safe. Of course, that's assuming one believes in science and facts. I will wait until closer to winter, to maximize my immunity closer to the COVID peak. Always amusing that people will deny the well-documented evidence that the benefits of the vaccine far, far outweigh the risks, but those same people will hop in their pickup and drive on 212, without giving it a second thought, an activity much, much riskier than getting the COVID vaccine.
