County burn permit system closed through the weekend

Below is the temperature forecast for the next seven days. Stay as cool and hydrated as possible. Remember to put out extra water for animals.

The Carbon County Sheriff’s Office announced last evening that, with the hot dry weather forecasted for the area, the Burn Permit System is closed for controlled burns in the County through the weekend.
