Confidence is increasing for a cool and wet weather system to affect our region late Wednesday into Friday. Heaviest precipitation is expected over the mountains and along the foothills, and a changeover from rain to wet snow is expected at lower elevations Wednesday night. Please monitor the forecast for changes.

Heavy snow is likely over the mountains and foothills of south-central Montana and north-central Wyoming. Red Lodge has a 67% chance of receiving over 10 inches of snow.
