By Denise Rivette
The Billings office of the National Weather Service reports a developing weather system will produce accumulating snowfall over the mountains, and some wet snow along the foothills, today and Friday.
Snow levels expected to fall to 6,000 feet with 10-18 inches expected in the Beartooths and 6-12 inches in the Bighorns.
Most roads along the foothills should stay wet, but some may turn briefly slushy. Monitor the forecast and plan accordingly.
