Skier Succumbs to Injuries from Fall at Red Lodge Mountain
Investigation into the incident is ongoing

The 37-year old Billings man who fell from a chairlift at Red Lodge Mountain on Monday has died.
Jeffrey Zinne fell from the Triple Chairlift on Monday, March 10, just before noon. Ski Patrol transported Zinne to the base of the mountain and from there EMS transported him to Beartooth Billings Clinic Hospital in Red Lodge before he was airlifted to St. Vincent’s hospital in Billings. Carbon County Sheriff Josh McQuillan reported that the man later succumbed to his injuries.
The Sheriff’s investigation into the accident is ongoing and this article will be updated when its results are made public.
