Senators Share Thoughts on Law Enforcement Appreciation Day
Today is National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day. In Carbon County, we have the Sheriff’s Office, Bridger Police Department and Red Lodge Police Department supplemented by State and Federal resources to thank for keeping the peace and responding to emergencies. Our U.S. Senators are also celebrating law enforcement all week and sent the following statements:
From Senator Jon Tester: “On Law Enforcement Appreciation Day and every day, I’m grateful to those who put their lives on the line to protect our communities. Montana’s officers work tirelessly to prevent crime and keep us safe, and I’ll always fight for the tools and resources they need to do their jobs.”
From Senator Steve Daines: “Our brave Montana law enforcement officers put their lives on the line every day to protect our families and communities. On National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day and every day, we’re thankful. I’m proud to Back the Blue.”
