Save the Dates: 2025 Water Policy Bills Webinar Series
From email sent by Montana Department of Natural Resources and Conservation
Montana Department of Natural Resources and Conservation asks the public to join members of the Comprehensive Water Review Stakeholder Working Group and DNRC staff for a detailed look at a suite of stakeholder-generated bills that will potentially be considered during the 2025 Legislative Session.
The Stakeholder working Group is a collaborative effort facilitated by the DNRC to ensure streamlined and consistent administrative processes, improved customer service, and responsible and innovative development of Montana’s water resources. The working group developed six bill draft recommendations over the course of 15 months. During this webinar series, working group members and DNRC staff will:
Explain how the bills solve identified issues related to water quantity, availability, and water rights processes;
Provide a detailed overview of the solution each bill proposes; and
Discuss considerations the working group weighed in reaching its recommendations.
