Montana Independent News posed the same for questions to each senatorial candidate. All candidates are listed in alphabetical order with links to the answers of those who responded in place of their name. In this race, only three candidates responded: Michael Hummert, Jon Tester and Charles Walking Child.
The questions posed were:

What skills, knowledge and experience do you possess that make you the better candidate?
What are your top priorities to address during your term if you are elected?
What legislative language would you propose or support to address those priorities?
