Mountain Snow Expected Tuesday
By Denise Rivette
The Billings office of the National Weather Service predicts another push of Pacific moisture will increase the chance for accumulating snow Monday night into Wednesday. Heaviest snow is expected in the western mountains on west and south facing slopes, but western foothills could see accumulating snow as well.
Red Lodge Mountain is currently predicted to receive approximately four inches of snow with this system. East Rosebud Lake is expected to get approximately six inches. Area high temperatures are predicted to be in the mid- to high-30s, while lows are expected in the mid- to high-teens. Lows are expected to dip to single digits at East Rosebud Lake.
