Montana Senators Offer Condolences to Senator Feinstein's Family
Senator Dianne Feinstein died Thursday night at age 90
Senator Dianne Feinstein (D-California) died at 90 years of age Thursday night ending her 30 years in the United States Senate.
Senator Jon Tester (D-Montana) issued the following statement:
“Sharla and I are deeply saddened by the passing of my friend and a trailblazing public servant, Senator Dianne Feinstein. It was a privilege to serve with her and work together on Western issues over the years. I will miss her.”
Senator Steve Daines (R-Montana) released the statement below:
“I am deeply saddened by the news of Senator Dianne Feinstein’s passing. Aside from being a trailblazer in public service, Dianne was my friend. I enjoyed the strong bipartisan relationship Senator Feinstein and I shared, and am thankful to have worked with her on important causes for both Montana and California, including forest management.
“Dianne’s decades of work for the people of California reflect her true sense of service and her legacy will continue to inspire Americans everywhere. Cindy and I send our heartfelt condolences to the Feinstein family during this time.”
