The Billings office of the National Weather Service is warning that elevated fire conditions will continue this week. Monday and Tuesday will be cooler with slightly high relative humidity values, but a strong high pressure ridge will build in mid-week pushing temperatures back into the 90s to around 100 degrees. Grasses are curing quickly and we have seen fast fire spread in some grassland areas. Do your part to avoid sparking a grassland fire this week.
