Filing Period is Now Open for November 2024 Candidates
Filing period ends March 11
The filing period for Montana candidates opened on January 11 and will close on March 11. So far, nine citizens have filed to be candidates for positions throughout Carbon County. Ironically, the only two candidates who failed to provide contact information beyond their physical address are husband and wife, Albert “Chip” Bennett and Lisa Bennett, who hope to represent Republicans in Precinct 16. Lisa Bennett is currently suing Carbon County regarding access to information. Positions open for candidate filings are listed below including candidates who have already filed.

Their office hours are 8:00am – 5:00pm, Monday through Friday (except legal holidays).
