Fatal Vehicle Accident North of Belfry

On October 25 at 10:50 a.m. on icy roads a Ford Ranger driven by a 40 year old Belfry man traveling northbound on Highway 72 crossed the center line near mile marker 20 and collided head on with a Saab 9-3 driven by a 64 year old woman also from Belfry. The man was transferred to Beartooth Billings Clinic with injuries. The woman died of injuries sustained in the accident. There is no suspicion of impairment or excess speed as the cause of this accident. Trooper Lance Hansen was the investigating officer.
