Warm Up Tomorrow With Rain and Snow Expected This Weekend
The latest predictions from the Billings Office of the National Weather Service predicts strong high pressure aloft will bring very warm temperatures Wednesday through Friday. Widespread 70s are expected, and a few locations could touch 80°. Changes are in store by next weekend. There is a chance of showers, and maybe thunderstorms, on Friday. Confidence is growing that a strong weather system will impact us this weekend with rain and mountains/foothills snow. That weather system is expected to bring widespread precipitation, with the best timing for heavy precipitation beginning Saturday morning and lasting through Sunday afternoon. The mountains will see primarily snow, while lower elevations will see rain and may see mixed precipitation and some snow at times. Snow accumulation predictions for this weekend have not yet been made.
