Search Efforts continue for Missing Hiker in East Rosebud Creek
Edited Red Lodge Fire Rescue press release Red Lodge Fire Rescue (RLFR) Search and Rescue personnel and the Carbon County Sheriff’s Office are actively searching for a 20 year old male Montana State University student from Minnesota who was swept away by the current on Friday, July 12, while crossing East Rosebud Creek north of Rimrock Lake in the Beartooth Mountains. The college student was attempting to cross the creek with a friend when he slipped on a log and was quickly carried downstream by the current, over the rapids and out of sight.
Beware Door to Door Salemen Making the Rounds

Individuals are soliciting residents for home inspections and repairs. RLPD is asking residents to be wary as this is against municipal code and a high probability it not a legitimate company.

Monday and Tuesday will be cooler with slightly high relative humidity values, but a strong high pressure ridge will build in mid-week pushing temperatures back into the 90s to around 100 degrees.
