BREAKING: Small American Airlines Plane Collides with Black Hawk Helicopter at Reagan National Airport
President Trump issues statement

According to multiple media outlets and a statement just released by President Donald Trump, tonight, January 29, 2025, just before 9:00 p.m. ET a Bombardier CRJ700 passenger plane operating as American Eagle Flight 5342 from Wichita, Kansas collided midair with a Sikorsky H-60 helicopter belonging to the U.S. Army near Reagan National Airport in Washington D.C. A social media post from DC Fire and EMS Department states “Confirmed small aircraft down in Potomac River vicinity Reagan National Airport. Fireboats on scene.”
At 10:14 p.m. ET Chris Cameron of the New York Times posted footage from a live webcam operated by the Kennedy Center that “appears to show a collision between two aircraft over Washington. At 8:47 p.m. on the live stream, two aircraft are seen colliding, and an explosion illuminates the night sky.”
President Trump released the following statement at 10:52 p.m ET:
“I have been fully briefed on the terrible accident which just took place at Reagan National Airport. May God Bless their souls. Thank you for the incredible work being done by our first responders. I am monitoring the situation and will provide more details as they arise.”
Here is what we really need to know about trump’s views on the accident, highlighting the idiot that he is. He thinks he is the best at everything and is an expert on everything, when the reality he is one of the least intelligent presidents, if not the least intelligent, we have ever had. One of the reasons everything he touches becomes chaos is because he understands very little except grifting and expects everyone else to buy into his wackiness.
