ATTENTION LIVESTOCK OWNERS: Dispatch Updating Livestock List

Carbon County Sheriff’s Dispatch is currently updating their Livestock List to make contacting livestock owners easier in the event of an emergency or if an animal escapes its property or is in distress. This is a major undertaking to improve both public safety and animal welfare. They are asking livestock owners within the County to contact Deputy Kramer at:

Information they would like to have on file includes: Owners name (Property and Livestock, if different), Contact information, Location where livestock is pastured (mile markers/addresses), Type of livestock (cows/horses/sheep etc.), Landowners that lease their land to (other) livestock owners.

This information will only be used to contact an owner regarding livestock. Carbon County Sheriff’s Dispatch appreciates your assistance with collecting this information. Any questions can be directed to Deputy Kramer (see above).
