Appreciation for Outgoing Red Lodge Mayor and Officials
Swearing in new officials Sunday, December 31 at 1:00
Departing mayor Kristen Cogswell and departing councilmembers Jenn Battles and Terri Durbin were shown appreciation for their hard work for the City during public comments at their last regularly scheduled Red Lodge City Council meeting on December 12. Also included in the comments were new councilmembers agreeing with outgoing councilmember Durbin that more detailed meeting minutes would be a benefit to the community and the Council. Additionally, there was a request to put the Yellowstone Wildlife Sanctuary (YWC) Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) vote on hold until YWS staff have a chance to review the document. Expressions of praise and gratitude were also expressed during the meeting for retiring Public Works Director Jim Bushnell.
A special Council session was held on December 20 to extend the dissolution of assets of the Red Lodge Airport until February 15, 2024.
The new Red Lodge municipal officers will be sworn in on Sunday, December 31 at 1:00 p.m. at Red Lodge City Hall.
