Ambulance Service Countywide Under Review
Citizen Input Requested Before Survey Ends On February 29
Emergency medical services across Carbon County are banding together to figure out how to provide reliable, prompt, quality service throughout the county. There are currently three ambulance agencies providing emergency medical and transport services located in Bridger, Joliet and Red Lodge relying mostly on volunteers. Volunteerism is falling and costs and requests for services are rising, requiring the agencies to rethink how they provide those services. Their first step is getting input from the public they serve.
To that end, they request all Carbon County residents fill out a brief questionnaire that can be accessed at carboncountymtems.org or by using the QR code below. The survey will run through the end of February and results will be used to help guide operational changes, direct public education of services and craft a ballot issue to be voted on in June.
